FORMA has provided design, construction documentation and construction administration services for this full gut renovation of an existing four-story multi-family building with a one-story addition in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY.  The client was interested in a contemporary and durable design that would appeal to a young Brooklyn market. The project required carefully considered space planning, tasteful yet economical material selection and precise building code/zoning analysis - the complex historical record of the building made necessary an exhaustive but successful plan examination process with the New York City Building Department.
